Ogee and Torus skirting
Ogee and Torus are traditional moulded profiles. They suit rooms where a more decorative edge is wanted, and they are often chosen where the customer wants skirting and architrave to look more established than a plain square board.
Chamfer and Pencil Round skirting
Chamfer and Pencil Round profiles give a cleaner, simpler finish. They are useful where the room needs a tidy painted edge without a heavily decorative moulding.
Grooved skirting profiles
Single Groove and V-Groove profiles add a visible shadow line. They can work well where a plain board feels too flat but a traditional moulding would feel too ornate.
Ovolo skirting
Ovolo has a rounded decorative edge. It is a good option when the skirting needs a softer moulded profile rather than a sharp, minimal line.
Match the architrave where possible
If the skirting and door trim are being fitted in the same room, choose matching architrave where it is available. This gives a more consistent finish around walls and openings.
