Pine mouldings, wooden beading and timber trim
Pine mouldings are a practical way to finish edges, corners, gaps and decorative details around interior joinery. This range brings together functional timber trim and decorative wooden mouldings in 2.4m lengths, so you can choose the profile that suits the job rather than forcing several different uses onto one type of beading.
Choose the right pine moulding profile
The profile matters as much as the size. Our range includes quarter-round, concave, angled, flat and decorative shapes for different finishing jobs:
- Quadrant moulding – quarter-round pine trim for covering small gaps and finishing internal corners. See the 18mm pine quadrant moulding and other available sizes.
- Scotia beading – concave timber trim commonly used to create a neat transition at flooring and skirting edges. Compare our 15mm pine scotia beading and 21mm profile.
- Pine angle moulding – L-shaped timber corner trim for protecting or finishing internal edges. Our 20mm pine angle moulding is one of several widths.
- Stripwood moulding – simple rectangular pine strips for edging, framing, packing and general joinery. Sizes range from small square sections to wider strips such as 12mm × 34mm pine stripwood.
- Panel and decorative mouldings – shaped profiles for wall panelling, doors, furniture and decorative detailing. Options include pine panel moulding and double astragal moulding.
- Window and glazing beads – smaller pine profiles for glazing and traditional window joinery, including pine glass bead and pine parting bead.
- Pine dowel – round timber for furniture, joinery and woodworking, available in several diameters including 18mm pine dowel.
Decorative wood trim for panelling and finishing
For wall panelling and interior detailing, panel mouldings, double astragal and D-shaped profiles give a more decorative finish than plain stripwood. For simpler edge finishing, quadrant, angle and stripwood provide cleaner, more functional profiles. Keeping these uses on one commercial range makes it easier to compare shapes and dimensions before choosing the timber moulding that fits the job.
Unfinished pine for painting, staining or varnishing
The pine profiles in this range are supplied unfinished, allowing them to be painted, stained or varnished to suit the surrounding interior joinery. Check the individual product dimensions before ordering, particularly where a moulding must cover a specific gap or meet an existing trim.
Finishing around skirting and interior joinery
Quadrant and scotia are often used alongside flooring and skirting, while decorative profiles can complement wider interior trim work. For the main room perimeter, see our skirting boards and architrave.
