Building insulation for different projects
Choose insulation by the construction you are working on rather than by thickness alone. Our range covers rigid PIR insulation boards, loft insulation rolls and insulated plasterboard for internal thermal dry lining.
Insulation boards
Rigid PIR insulation boards are useful where a firm insulation sheet is required within a suitable roof, wall or floor build-up. Our PIR boards are supplied in 2400 × 1200mm sheets with 25mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 150mm thickness options.
Insulation rolls
For loft and cold-roof applications, our Superglass glass mineral wool insulation is supplied in roll form. The current range includes 100mm, 150mm and 200mm loft insulation rolls.
Insulated plasterboard
Where an internal project needs a plasterboard lining and PIR insulation combined in one board, see our PIR insulated plasterboard. This is a different product type from standalone rigid PIR insulation board.
Which insulation should I choose?
The right insulation depends on the location, existing construction, available depth, required thermal performance and the complete wall, floor or roof build-up. If a project has a specified U-value or building-control requirement, choose the product and thickness from the relevant project specification rather than assuming that one thickness suits every application.
For rigid boards, shop PIR insulation boards. For lofts, shop loft insulation rolls. For internal thermal dry lining, shop insulated plasterboard.
