Help give a local child something to open this Christmas
For most children, Christmas morning means presents, surprises and something with their name on it. For some children in our local communities, that isn't guaranteed.
This Christmas, we're filling gift boxes with toys, games, books, craft items, stationery, winter essentials and other gifts for children in our local and surrounding communities.
Our aim is simple: fill as many boxes as we possibly can.
Whatever you give, we'll match it £1 for £1
Every customer donation is doubled by Wern-Wood, helping us put gifts into the hands of even more local children.
Wern-Wood and its partners are committing up to £10,000 to the appeal.

We're keeping Christmas local
The boxes will go to local organisations already working with children and families, including schools, charities, community groups and family-support services.
These organisations already know the children and families they support, helping us get the gifts to the people who will genuinely benefit from them.
We'll deliver the gifts ourselves
Once everything is packed, the Wern-Wood team will load the boxes onto our own delivery fleet and take them directly to the organisations receiving them.
We're planning to make the deliveries a proper Christmas event too, with our staff getting involved and turning up in festive outfits.
Your donation goes towards the gifts
Wern-Wood is paying for the physical boxes, campaign materials and card-processing fees separately.
That means money donated to the appeal can be focused on filling the boxes, rather than paying the costs of running the campaign.
Do you support local children or families?
If you represent a school, charity, community group, family-support service or another local organisation, we'd like to hear from you.
Organisations can request Christmas Gift Boxes for the children they support. We'll ask how many boxes are needed, the age ranges required and where they need to be delivered.
We will not ask for the names or personal details of the children receiving the gifts.

KEEP CHRISTMAS LOCAL
If our customers, suppliers and local businesses get behind this, we can give hundreds — potentially thousands — of local children something of their own to open this Christmas.
