Choosing the right fence rail
Fence rails are the horizontal timber used across many timber fencing systems. The right rail depends on the fence you are building: squared motorway rails suit featheredge and closeboard fencing, half-round rails suit post-and-rail fencing, smooth rails support picket pales, and capping rail finishes the top of a fence.
