Description
Quick answer: PIR insulation board is a rigid thermal insulation sheet used within suitable roof, wall and floor build-ups. Our full-size boards are 2400 × 1200mm, covering 2.88m² per sheet, with 25mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 150mm thicknesses available.
PIR stands for polyisocyanurate. Our stocked PIR board is supplied to a consistent specification with a declared thermal conductivity of λ 0.022 W/mK.

- 25mm PIR insulation board – 2400 × 1200mm
- 50mm PIR insulation board – 2400 × 1200mm
- 75mm PIR insulation board – 2400 × 1200mm
- 100mm PIR insulation board – 2400 × 1200mm
- 150mm PIR insulation board – 2400 × 1200mm

PIR insulation for floors, roofs and walls
- PIR floor insulation: suitable for specified solid and suspended floor build-ups where rigid thermal insulation is required.
- PIR roof insulation: used in suitable pitched and flat roof systems. For flat roofs, see our warm roof vs cold roof guide.
- PIR wall insulation: used in suitable framed and other specified wall constructions. For internal dry lining where you also need a plasterboard face, use PIR insulated plasterboard.

PIR board or insulated plasterboard?
