Primed MR MDF architrave

Our MDF architrave is made from moisture-resistant MDF and supplied primed ready for final painting. Current profiles are 18 × 69mm × 4.2m for finishing internal door frames and openings.

Choose the architrave profile

Current options include Ogee, Torus, Chamfered/Rounded, Pencil Round, V-Groove, Single Groove and Ovolo. Choose the profile to match the skirting or the existing joinery in the room.

Match the skirting board

Complete the room with our MDF Skirting Boards. Matching profiles are available across the main designs, making it easier to keep the door surrounds and floor edges consistent.

Fixing and finishing MDF architrave

Use a suitable grab adhesive and lost-head nails according to the substrate and installation. Fill fixing holes, caulk small perimeter gaps where appropriate, then complete the primed surface with your chosen paint finish.
