Square treated softwood posts are the main choice for garden fencing, featheredge, closeboard and general boundary work. Our Treated Softwood Fence Posts include common 75 × 75mm (3×3) and 100 × 100mm (4×4) sections plus larger sizes and longer lengths.
Common timber fence post sizes
For standard square garden posts, our current range includes 3×3 and 4×4 posts in multiple lengths, plus larger sections for heavier jobs. Choose the total length around the finished fence height and the section that needs to be buried.

Planed rounded-top posts give a smoother decorative finish for picket fencing and visible garden boundaries.
