Galvanised fence post brackets and fence panel clips for securing compatible timber fence panels and trellis to timber fence posts. Choose the clip width to suit the panel frame: 41mm, 50mm or 51mm options are available.
How we fit fence panel brackets
Screw the bracket to the timber post first, then secure the fence panel to the bracket. This is our preferred way to fix a ready-made panel to timber posts.
We avoid screwing a fence panel directly to the post. Panels move naturally outdoors, and direct fixing is an easy way to reduce the life of the panel. Excess movement, twisting and rattling can weaken panel joints over time.
Which fence post bracket size do I need?
Match the clip width to the actual fence-panel frame rather than assuming every panel uses the same bracket. Check the panel before ordering.
- 41mm — for compatible narrower panel frames.
- 50mm — a common size for compatible timber fence panels.
- 51mm — for compatible slightly wider panel frames.
