Description
This four-piece aluminium set is the structural frame around one DuraPost VISTA composite fence bay. It is what turns the individual VISTA boards into a clean, finished panel between DuraPost Classic steel posts.
What is the VISTA infill set?
Each set contains 2 side profiles, 1 bottom profile and 1 top profile. The side profiles sit inside the post arrangement, the bottom profile establishes the base of the bay, and the top profile closes the panel once the composite boards have been stacked.
Who needs this?
Anyone building a standard VISTA composite fence bay needs one complete infill set per bay. It is not an optional trim piece: it is part of the VISTA panel structure and finishing system.

Remember that posts are shared between neighbouring bays, so calculate the full fence rather than ordering two posts for every frame set.
How does it fit?
- Install and align the Classic posts.
- Position the bottom profile between the posts.
- Fit the two side profiles.
- Stack the VISTA boards horizontally inside the frame.
- Secure the specified fixing points using VISTA 4 × 28mm self-drilling screws.
- Fit the top profile to finish the panel.
Important fitting details
- Allow 2.5mm each side for movement of the composite boards.
- VISTA boards can vary in height by up to -2mm; across a full panel, trim the side profiles if required so the top finishes correctly.
- If a post hole does not line up with the required fixing position, Birkdale specifies pre-drilling with a 5mm metal bit.
- Do not use an impact driver.
Which finish should I choose?
Choose the aluminium finish to suit the posts and overall scheme. The stocked frame is available in Anthracite Grey or Black. The composite board colour is selected independently, so a Graphite, Teak or Oyster board can be paired with either frame finish.
Can the profiles be cut?
Yes. The aluminium profiles can be trimmed for a narrower final bay. Measure the finished opening once the posts are in position, cut the frame and boards to suit the same bay, and preserve the required expansion allowance.
