Description
Heavy-duty manual fence post rammers, also commonly called fence post drivers, knockers or pounders, for driving compatible timber posts into suitable ground without striking the post directly with a sledgehammer.
Choose the rammer to suit the post
- Small – up to 68mm posts — for compatible smaller stakes and posts.
- Heavy-Duty – up to 150mm posts — for larger compatible round or square timber fence posts.
The steel tube fits over the post so the driving force is applied through the enclosed top, with side handles for controlled lifting and driving.
Fence post rammer or post hole installation?
A rammer is for posts designed to be driven into suitable ground. If the post needs a conventional dug footing instead, use a Post Hole Digger and the appropriate setting material.
