Hinges are not included with the gate-only option. You can buy the gate on its own or select a version supplied with a pair of galvanised curved gate hinges.
Choose your hinge option
- Gate with no hinges – the timber gate only. Hinges, latch, posts and general fixings are purchased separately.
- Gate with Left Handed Hinge – gate plus a pair of left-handed curved hinges. Stand outside and face the gate: the hinges will be on your left and the gate opens inward.
- Gate with Right Handed Hinge – gate plus a pair of right-handed curved hinges. Stand outside and face the gate: the hinges will be on your right and the gate opens inward.

What is this gate used for?
Use it for garden entrances, pathways and boundaries where appearance and an open feel matter more than screening. The arched top adds a traditional decorative profile and can soften a straight run of fencing.

What else do I need?
You will need suitable gate posts, a latch and exterior fixings. A ring latch or Suffolk latch gives two-sided operation. If you choose the gate-only option, hinges are also required separately.
If the gate posts are being set into the ground, add our 20kg rapid-set Postmix. Gate posts normally need a more substantial footing than a standard intermediate fence post.
Alternatives
Choose the arched hit and miss gate for more screening while retaining a curved top. The featheredge gate is better where privacy is important. The treated lap gate offers a familiar solid boarded appearance.
Before ordering: Confirm the gate's listed dimensions against the finished opening and allow working clearance for hinges and the latch. Fix hardware into the structural frame, not only into decorative lattice sections.
