Description

This is the connection channel used when a DuraPost fence changes direction or changes application. It is not a fence post.

Use a U-Channel with the DuraPost Corner Post where fencing needs to connect to the square post. It can also be fixed to a suitable wall or existing structure to create the side channel for the fencing.

When do I need a U-Channel?

  • At a DuraPost Corner Post where the fence changes direction
  • Where the fence changes into a different application or connection
  • Where fencing meets a suitable wall or existing structure
  • On the fence side of selected gate layouts

Do I need a U-Channel at the end of a normal fence?

No. If the fence simply finishes, continue with the standard Classic post and use the Classic Post End Infill to cover the exposed channel.
