Description
The DuraPost U-channel provides the correct side connection when a fence starts or finishes at a wall, existing structure, corner post or light-duty gate post.
It can be used with timber fencing and DuraPost VISTA composite fencing. The DuraPost Fence Calculator selects this component automatically when the chosen layout requires a fixed side channel.

When is a U-channel needed?
- Starting or finishing a fence against a suitable wall or existing post
- Connecting a fence bay to a DuraPost gate, end or corner post
- Creating the side restraint required at selected end and corner intersections
This is not a freestanding fence post. Corners and gate connections may also require the matching DuraPost Light Duty Gate, End & Corner Post. Confirm the substrate, fixings and current DuraPost installation guidance before installation.
