For a normal timber garden gate, move up to medium tee hinges. Choose heavy tee hinges for larger gates and substantial doors. For wide or heavy gates, hook and band hinges are usually the more suitable system.
Before ordering: Select by the actual weight, width and construction of the moving leaf—not just by the hinge price or screw-hole count.
