Professional F16 angled brad nails for clean, discreet second-fix work. Available from 32mm to 64mm.
If you're fitting skirting, architrave, door stops, panelling or decorative timberwork, you generally don't want a large nail head left visible in the finished surface. That's where a brad nail comes in.
What is a brad nail?
A brad is a slim finishing nail with a small head, designed to hold timber trim securely while leaving a much smaller fixing mark than a conventional nail.
These Viper brads are 1.6mm F16 gauge, making them ideal for second-fix carpentry where the appearance of the finished job matters.

Why are they angled?
The nail itself doesn't go into the timber at a strange angle.
“Angled” refers to the way the strip of brads sits inside the nail gun.
An angled magazine can reach into corners, against walls and into other awkward areas where the body of a straight finishing nailer can get in the way.
This makes angled brad nailers particularly useful for jobs such as skirting and architrave, where you're regularly fixing close to floors, walls and internal corners.
Important: these brads are for a compatible F16 angled finishing nailer, such as the Paslode IM65A and equivalent models. They are not interchangeable with straight-collated brads.
Which length do I need?
The correct length depends on the thickness of the timber or MDF you're fixing and how much penetration you need into the timber behind it.
32mm – Light trim & beading
Best suited to thinner mouldings, beads, lightweight panelling and other jobs where a long fixing isn't required.
38mm – Architrave & general trim
A useful everyday second-fix size for architraves, door stops, window trim, dado rail and similar mouldings.
45mm – General second-fix carpentry
A good middle-ground size when 38mm is a little short. Suitable for heavier trim, mouldings, MDF and lighter skirting applications.
51mm – Skirting, architrave & thicker trim
A popular general-purpose size where you need a deeper fixing through skirting, architrave, panelling or thicker MDF into the timber behind.
64mm – Heavy second-fix work
For thicker skirting, substantial mouldings, door and window casing work and other applications where you need maximum penetration from an F16 finishing nailer.
As a general rule, don't simply choose the longest nail available. Choose a brad long enough to pass through the material being fixed and achieve a good hold in the timber behind it.

Galvanised finish
The electro-galvanised finish provides corrosion protection for normal dry second-fix applications. For consistently damp, exposed or exterior applications, a suitable stainless-steel fixing should be considered instead.
