Description

DuraPost Corner Post Bolt Down fixes a compatible square DuraPost corner post onto a suitable solid masonry or concrete base. The galvanised support is welded top and bottom for strength and is supplied for the square-post system.

Where can it be used?

Birkdale specifies DuraPost bolt-down supports for suitable solid masonry or concrete surfaces, not tarmac. They are commonly used for fences up to around 1.8m high, subject to the actual layout, loading and condition of the base.

Important gate rule

Do not use the Corner Post Bolt Down for a post that will hang a gate or act as the gate slam post. Use the correct gate-post foundation for the gate system.

Set out the complete run before drilling and keep the bolt-down base level so the finished post can be installed plumb.
