Description
This special-order DuraPost Classic range covers additional lengths and finishes outside our normal stocked post options. The 48mm Classic steel post works with timber fence panels, featheredge and compatible DuraPost composite systems.
Choose the post length from the finished fence
Allow for the required above-ground fence height plus the amount of post installed below ground. Birkdale's general guidance is to set roughly one third of the post below ground, subject to the actual fence design and site conditions.
Available special-order options
This range includes selected 1.8m, 2.4m, 2.7m and 3.0m posts in Galvanised, Olive Grey, Sepia Brown, Anthracite Grey and Black. Not every finish is listed at every length.
Installation
Set out the complete run before digging. Keep the post centres consistent, support each post plumb while the footing sets and use the correct DuraPost connection components for corners, walls and gates.
