Description
This is the four-piece aluminium frame used around one DuraPost VISTA composite fence bay. This listing covers the wider special-order colour range for projects where the frame finish is part of the overall garden or architectural scheme.
What does the VISTA infill set do?
The set contains 2 side profiles, 1 bottom profile and 1 top profile. Together they support, contain and finish the horizontal VISTA composite boards between DuraPost Classic posts.
Who needs it?
One complete infill set is required for every VISTA fence bay. It is a core part of the system rather than a decorative extra.
What else completes one full bay?
- 3 packs / 12 VISTA composite boards
- 1 × VISTA aluminium infill set — this product
- 1 × bag of 16 colour-matched VISTA 4 × 28mm self-drilling screws
- DuraPost Classic posts appropriate to the height and site conditions
How it goes together
- Set and align the Classic posts.
- Fit the bottom profile.
- Fit both side profiles.
- Stack the VISTA boards horizontally.
- Fix the specified points with the correct colour-matched screws.
- Fit the top profile to complete the bay.
Important fitting details
- Allow 2.5mm each side for composite expansion.
- Board-height tolerance can be up to -2mm, so side profiles may need trimming for a flush finished top.
- Pre-drill with a 5mm metal bit if no post hole aligns with the required fixing position.
- Do not use an impact driver.
Special-order frame colours
Available in Olive Grey, Sepia Brown, Anthracite Grey and Black. VISTA board colours are selected independently, allowing the aluminium frame to either blend with the posts or deliberately contrast with the composite boards.
Planning a complete project

Installation manual
Use the official DuraPost VISTA technical and fitting guide for current manufacturer dimensions and fixing instructions.
Why choose the aluminium frame as part of the design?
The infill is what gives VISTA its sharp, architectural outline. Choosing the frame colour deliberately lets the fence either blend into the planting and hard landscaping or create a crisp contrast around the composite boards.
