Description

The DuraPost Half Post Cap finishes the top of a compatible 75 × 37mm half-post arrangement. It is the correct finishing piece where a full 75mm square cap would not match the post profile.

When is a half-post cap used?

Use it wherever the DuraPost layout uses the corresponding half-post profile, typically at a special termination or connection where a reduced-depth post detail is required.

Why use the matching cap?

An open steel profile looks unfinished and can collect debris. The matching cap closes the top cleanly while keeping the visible finish consistent with the rest of the DuraPost system.

What else should be checked?

Confirm the actual post profile before ordering: this cap is 75 × 37mm and is not interchangeable with the 75 × 75mm square-post cap or the Classic-post cap.

Why use the correct half-post cap?

The reduced post profile is normally used where space or detailing matters, so an oversized or improvised cap defeats the point. This keeps the termination neat and proportionate.
