Use Evercryl when a larger roof area needs an instant waterproof coating
Everbuild Evercryl One Coat is a brush-applied roof repair coating for instant waterproofing. It is designed for repairs across roofing felt, bitumen, concrete, metal, fibre cement, slate and tile, and can be applied in wet or dry conditions.
For felt roof repair, use 904 to bond loose felt and 903 to patch defects
Black Jack 904 Roof Felt Adhesive bonds felt to timber, concrete, metal and existing felt and can also seal felt laps. Black Jack 903 Trowel Mastic is the heavier patching product for cracks, holes and defects in felt, asphalt, corrugated sheets, gutters and similar roof details.
Use bitumen paint or roofing emulsion when the roof needs a protective coating
Black Jack 901 Bitumen Paint is a solvent-based protective coating for dry, prepared surfaces including felt, wood, concrete and metal. Black Jack 906 Roofing Emulsion is a water-based black roof coating that can be applied to damp surfaces for general roof waterproofing and maintenance.
Lead flashing needs a flexible lead-compatible sealant
Everbuild Lead Mate is a neutral-cure sealant specifically for lead and other soft metals. For larger flashing details, use Black Jack Flashing Tape; porous or dusty surfaces may need Black Jack 902 Primer first.
EPDM roof repairs use a different product system
