Description
The correct structural post for light-duty gates, fence ends and corners. This 2.4m DuraPost post has a 60mm × 60mm profile and is designed for positions where a standard Classic intermediate post is not the right component.
Use it at the end of a run, at a change of direction, or as a support for a compatible light-duty gate. Birkdale states that this post is suitable for gates weighing up to 30kg, subject to correct installation and the complete gate design.

Do not use it as
This is not simply an interchangeable replacement for every Classic post. Intermediate posts are normally used through a straight fence run. Gate, end and corner positions require the correct channels, fixings and layout for the chosen fencing system.

Installation guidance
Confirm the complete corner, end or gate detail before setting the post. Gate loads, hinge positions, foundation size, wind exposure and ground conditions all affect performance. Keep the post fully supported, plumb and aligned while the foundation material cures.
For exposed sites, unusual ground conditions, heavier gates, retaining applications or non-standard heights, obtain appropriate site-specific advice before installation.
